CO₂ - intensive therapy

Since 1996 a new stimulating blood circulation therapy is offered in the health resorts with natural carbonic acid gas.

This therapy can be seen as an addition to the famous CO2 dry-gas therapy  and can be used successfully at the following diseases:

all forms of circulatory disorders, vascular diseases, ulcera cruris (open legs), disorders of the microcirculation (for example when suffering from diabetes mellitus) and phantom limbs.

The procedure is the following:
The patient, after the skin has been moistened, is put into a specially designed plastic cover where he is exposed to the intensive effect of the carbonic acid which is conducted into the patients plastic entourage. It takes only 15 minutes for the blood circulation to experience an increasingly strong stimulation which manifests itself in a feeling of heat and prickling sensation.

After the theapy one should take enough time for relaxation. Further information will be given by the cure physicians.
