In the heart of the national park Fichtelgebirge Weißenstadt, the dreamy small idyllic place embedded in the valley of the river Eger, is one of the oldest towns of the region and a state-approved place of recreation. The health centre is located on the 50 hectares covering area of the Weißenstädter lake. The lake-side promenade leads to the picturesque small town Weißenstadt which, over the centures has developed into a specifically attractive spot of our earth.

Romantic streets, narrow lanes and the unique rows of barns invite the visitors to take extensive walks and learn more about the town's long history. The lovely valley is bordered by the ranges of the Fichtelgebirge whose virgin nature has become a much appreciated attraction point to the people in need of a rest.

The variety of landscapes of the Fichtelgebirge offers our guests hiking trails and cycle paths. Due to the in some extent untouched nature people have enough possibilities to regain energy und to find silent spots for relaxation.

 

All the rooms have a magnificent view either towards the lake or the Fichtelgebirge and can be easily reached by lifts. They rooms are equipped in a modern way und provide bath/shower, WC, Sat-TV, radio, telephone, balcony, hairdryer and safe.
Furthermore the hotel disposes rooms and apartments which are handicapped accessible.

Special features of the hotel are the therapies which are individually tailored to the needs of the guests. Diagnostic findings of the house-owned diagnosis unit help the therapists to watch the success of the therapies.

Therapy offers

On account of the radon resources an unique offer of therapies with radon is provided at the health resort Weißenstadt. Successfully treated are diseases of the locomotor system. Also radon therapies lead to a reduction of the pains and expedite the healing process. 


The Cryotherapy is applied at rheumatic diseases, migraine, sleep disorders, pain reduction and helps to improve the overall condition. The patients have to stay 2 - 3 minutes in a cubicle with -110 ° Celsius.


The special CO2-therapies-Carbovasal and Carbocutan- have a positive effect on disturbances of the blood circulation, hypertension, circulation, cellulitis and  phantom-limb syndrome after amputations.


Massages, fango, electrotherapy and different spas are also included in the offer ragarding the therapy. All treatments are also offered to one-day guests.

Anti-Aging - Thanks to a broad offer like swimming pool (indoor and outdoor), jacuzzi, solarium, sauna area, steam bath, infra-red cubicle, exercise room, solariums, Nordic Walking, beauty parlour, hairdresser our guests will be pampered at the health resort Weißenstadt.


Our guests can enjoy with an optional 4 course meal excellent frankish and international cuisine. Especially attention within the nutrition receives the bland diet, vegetarian food and a diet which is low of cholesterol.

Terraces and cafeterias invite our guests to enjoy the wonderful view.
There are also lectures of the medical professionals, concerts, shows, theatres, performances and on special occasions like christmas and new year's eve additional events will take place.
